Alteryx OneDrive Connectors

The Alteryx OneDrive Connectors require a bit of additional work to get setup. Please request assistance from your area IT support person, as this process requires making changes to your Windows Registry.

• First, install connector version 2.1.0 here. This will match the version we have on Alteryx Server. Run the installer before following the next steps.

• You will need your IT support to help with the next part.
  Administrators will need to create a new string value PythonAllowHideEncryption under the Alteryx Registry Key:

  • Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\SRC\Alteryx
    Value Name: PythonAllowHideEncryption
    Value Data: true

  • Steps to create the new key:

    1. Type regedit in Windows Start Menu and RUN AS ADMIN.

    2. Browse to the folder location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\SRC\Alteryx

    3. Right click and select New > String Value

    4. Set the KeyName to PythonAllowHideEncryption and the Value to 'true'

We recommend using the “Sign in via Internet Browser” option.
