The General Ledger Data Mart data in the University data warehouse are made available to authorized users for customized querying and reporting. This access is governed by Federated Authorization, ensuring users only have access to the data required to fulfill their University responsibilities.
How do I request General Ledger (GL) Mart access?
To request access to the General Ledger Mart, please fill out related Federated Authorization form. Please visit the the Federated Authorization Community page for step-by-step instructions and FAQs about how requests are routed.

Financial Dashboards
A number of Tableau dashboards with student-related data are provided automatically to anyone with Student Mart access. These include:
Financial Tableau Data Sources
COMING SOON! Tableau Data Sources will allow users to build or customize their own reports or dashboards for their units. More information to follow - stay tuned!
Cognos General Ledger Packages
A number of Cognos Reports and Data Packages are available for current users; note that many of these are being migrated to Tableau, so new users are encouraged to explore those instead. Visit our Cognos page for more details.
Completing the GL Request Form

First, enter the name of the person
Next, under General Request Information, select the Request Type:
If you’ve chosen Duplicate Account Privileges, skip the following step. List out the name of the group where the user should be added. Note the naming convention described in the instructions.
How do remove or revoke access?
The Federated Authorization used to request access can also be used to remove or revise access to an account. Instead of choosing Add New User in Step 2 above, simply remove the users (for individuals who have no financial reporting duties, or Modify Access of the Existing User for people who are changing departments or roles.
