UDA4 Account Creation and Access

  • Go to your RC admin and request a new sponsored account. It should be prefixed with UDA4 followed by 2-4 letters that are meaningful to your group. For example, UDA4HR for Human Resources.

  • Go to the Federated Authorization page and request mart access for that account.   https://pitt.my.site.com/FedAuth/s/. Use your own username and name in the Requestee Information section, and then put the UDA4 account in the justification notes. 

    Any user with access to this account also needs to have matching permissions approved via Fed Auth.

  • If you are filling our a Student Mart Fed Auth form, there is a section to request database account creation. Select the ‘Create Account’ radio button.

  • If you are filling out a form for the GL Mart or Employee Mart and your UDA4 account will not be accessing the Student Mart, you will need to open a case with the Help Desk https://services.pitt.edu/TDClient/33/Portal/Requests/TicketRequests/NewForm?ID=itE6fP3hNtM_&RequestorType=Serviceto have a database account created after the Fed Auth for the UDA4 account has been approved.

If you are planning to write or create new database tables hosted by this account, please be sure to include a note requesting table space for your account.
