    Active Student — The Active Student Dashboard provides a summary of current “active students” (students are de-activated after 3 terms of inactivity). Use this dashboard to view a breakdown of students by program or degree, generate contact lists, or identify students with outstanding service indicators.

    Admissions — The Undergraduate Admissions and Graduate Admissions dashboards support the high-level reporting needs of the University, focusing on the milestones reached by applicants over time, commonly known as the “admissions funnel.” They provide details for the admissions funnel and applicant pool profiles capturing admit, yield (deposit), enroll, and melt rates. As well, you can drill down into the academic and demographic profile of your applicant pool for the current admissions cycle. You may compare counts by "Admissions Week," "Term Census," and "Most Current." The dashboards were built to replicate the reporting out of the centralized Offices of the Provost and Admissions, with feedback gathered from admissions professionals throughout the University campuses.

    Class Enrollment and Grades — The Class Enrollment and Grades Dashboard captures students' academic performance and class-specific enrollment details. You will find GPAs, Units (Credits) totals, Expected Graduation Term and Admit Term.

    Class Schedule — The Class Schedule Dashboard offers a summary of University classes, including information on number and frequency of offerings, enrollment capacity, waitlist capacity, and assigned instructors so that users can analyze trends in class demand and instructor load.

    Course Catalog — The Course Catalog Dashboard is a comprehensive tool designed to provide visibility into the University's course inventory, combined with each course’s most recently scheduled class offerings. This dashboard serves as a central resource in the University's curriculum maintenance ecosystem, supporting various stakeholders including department staff, faculty, academic councils/committees, and other roles involved in academic planning and curriculum maintenance.

    The dashboard consists of three primary views:

    • Catalog Overview: A complete listing of all courses in the University catalog with filtering capabilities to view only courses with upcoming changes. This enables efficient catalog management and curriculum planning.

    • Catalog Change Review: A specialized view displaying courses with pending changes, offering side-by-side comparison between current and future course details. This simplifies the review process and ensures accuracy in course updates.

    • Retired Courses: A reference repository of discontinued courses, maintained for historical documentation, student inquiries, accreditation reporting, and catalog management purposes. The view preserves institutional knowledge and supports compliance requirements.

    Fiscal Panther: Actual & Projected Labor — This dashboard contains five visualizations to provide visibility into labor distribution expenses, current SPAR and TEAM data for salaried and bi-weekly employees, respectively and historical SPAR distributions by account and individual employee.

    *This new view by default, will not display account information. A user must setup a default custom view for their account information. This is meant to improve performance give the large amount of data now available at the individual transaction level. Multiple custom views can be created to allow for ease of navigation.

    Fiscal Panther: Entity 02, 03 Operating — Fiscal Panther: Operating is a tool for reviewing and managing operating (02/03 account) funding, spending, and projections. Encumbrances from the Operating Funds Forecasting or PantherExpress applications are also included.

    Fiscal Panther: Grants Administration — Fiscal Panther Grant Administration is a tool for reviewing and managing grant funding, spending, and projections for active grants. It pulls together data across PRISM, PBCS, and PERIS to provide account administrators a unified view of their budgets vs. actual spend and encumbrances at the RC, Department, and individual project level.

    Fiscal Panther: Monthly Statement — Fiscal Panther: Monthly Statement is a tool for reviewing and managing the month end snapshot of GL accounts by entity.  It is intended to allow users to review their respective department, purpose or project position as of the end of the month, after the GL period has been closed. 

    This view also includes snapshots of PantherExpress PO and PBCS Forecasting expenses. Encumbrance Snapshots began in December 2024.  Users can optionally include these encumbrances in the totals and balances.

    Fiscal Panther: Purchase Order Review — Fiscal Panther Purchase Order Review is a tool for reviewing and searching purchase order transactions. The University’s purchasing system is PantherExpress. POs approved the day before are imported nightly into PRISM and then into the data warehouse for reporting.

    Fiscal Panther: Purpose-Based (02/04/06/09) — Fiscal Panther Purpose-based is a tool for reviewing and managing 02/04/06/09 accounts with non-zero purpose codes. Spending, revenue, and projections can be tracked.

    Fiscal Panther: Transaction Review — Fiscal Panther Transaction Review is a tool for reviewing and searching GL and PO transactions. All entities are included.

    Fiscal Panther: Transaction Review (NEW!) — This is the new and improved version of the Transaction Review dashboard currently running in parallel. This version is reconfigured with the new data sources based on our customer feedback. The view now allows review or multiple entities and departments and includes new totals for Revenue and Expense. Balance sheet subcodes (subcodes > 4000) are available in a separate view. A new view was also added to view transaction by the Billing ID to allow view of the billing Id and all of the related subaccounts.

    Graduation — The Graduation Dashboard provides academic and degree information for students who graduated in a selected Fiscal Year/Academic Term. Use this dashboard to view the graduation numbers by degrees and academic plans or demographic metrics or generate a list of students with their respective graduation addresses. Users may also use this dashboard as a template to build or customize their own versions of the dashboards.

    HR Analytics HR Analytics supplements human resources reporting from the PittWorx system.  Use this dashboard to analyze trends over time for head counts, terminations, and new hires; view distributions by employment detail or demographics; export contact lists of current employees by RC/department; or inspect an individual employee’s record in-detail.

    PERIS: RC View — This suite of dashboards was created to support the new subaccount process and provide increased visibility for the overall activation and modification of sponsored projects between the PERIS MyFunding and PRISM RPA applications.

    PERIS: Researcher Overview — This Researcher Overview dashboard offers a summary of submitted and awarded project proposals entered into the PERIS application. We provide different views where you can search for summary and detailed information about projects associated with a particular PI, non-PI collaborator, Department, or Project Title/Keyword.

    Sponsored Project AR View — The purpose of this dashboard is to display the open invoices for specific sponsored projects.  Only projects that generate invoices for payment are shown.  Projects where the departments are responsible for invoicing or Letter of Credit are not shown.

    Student Enrollment — The Student Enrollment Dashboard offers academic and enrollment information for students enrolled in a selected term. You can review students’ academic information, performance indicators, assigned advisors, generate contact lists, review summarized enrollment demographics, or look at tuition and enrollment summaries and trends.
  • Page:
    Student Enrollment and Tuition Forecasts — The Student Enrollment and Tuition Forecasts and Actuals Dashboard offers summary level aggregation of student enrollment, tuition, and credits, as well as budgets (forecasts). The data is budgeted for school, career level, load, residency, and tuition attributes.
