Access Your Analytic Apps

Someone on the Pitt IT Analytics team may have shared an Alteryx Analytics App with you so you can get data on demand rather than wait on us. Follow the steps below to access your Analytics App.

Login to alteryx.pitt.edu.
On the left panel, select Collections. Collections are a method of organizing and sharing workflows and apps.
In the Collections page, you’ll see the Collections you have access to. Click on one to see the list of workflows and apps within that Collection.
Click on an app name, and the workflow page will open. Click run at the top right.
You may be prompted to make some selections, or to upload a file. Uploaded files are not saved on the Alteryx Server; they are only used temporarily to run the app. Once you have made your selections, click either run button.
The page will be blank as the app runs - this is expected!
When the app has finished running, you will see a results screen. You may have the option to download an output file.
If the workflow fails, please double check if there were requirements around your selections or input file that you may have missed.
